Lease-End Process: Option 1
Return your vehicle and lease a new Honda

Love your leased vehicle, but hoping to trade in for a newer model with even more great features? This is the perfect choice for you. Just follow these simple steps to prepare for your lease end.

• Six months before turn in date: Begin researching your next leased vehicle. Browse the extensive Gary Yeomans Honda inventory and take a test drive.
• two to three months before turn in date: Contact the experienced team at Gary Yeomans Honda to make an appointment to discuss the next steps in returning your leased vehicle and beginning a new lease. We will also help point you in the right direction of the local vehicle inspection facility.
• Two months before turn-in date: Arrange a free vehicle inspection to evaluate excess wear and use and discuss related charges, if any. Obtaining the Vehicle Inspection Report in advance will give you the time you need to have any desired repairs, genuin Honda parts, service, and expert preparation to get your vehicle ready for return.
• One week before turn-in date: Make an appointment at Gary Yeomans Honda to turn over your leased vehicle. Start to remove personal items, clean the vehicle, and gather the needed items below.
• On or before lease-end date: On your lease-end appointment date, you will turn in your vehicle to Gary Yeomans Honda.
• Remember to bring the following items to your appointment:
  • All keys and key fobs to the leased vehicle
  • Owner's manual
  • Maintenance records, if any
  • Vehicle Inspection Report
  • Vehicle Return Receipt
  • Odometer Disclosure Statement

After you turn in your vehicle:

Contact the Turn-In Hotline at 1-800-351-6513 to inform Honda Financial Services that you have returned your vehicle.

• The completion process for your account will begin if all payments have been made.
• If you have a remaining balance, it is your responsibility to ensure that the payment agreement is is fulfilled. Even if Gary Yeomans Honda has agreed to make final payments, it is up to you to follow-up on the closure of the account.

If any end-of-term liabilities should be applied to the account, they will be billed at a later time.

Return your leased vehicle to the dealer.

When it's time to return your leased vehicle to the dealer at the end of your lease term, just follow these simple steps.

Lease-End Process: Option 3
Purchase your leased vehicle.

Once you decide to buy your leased vehicle, there is no need to have it inspected. There are only a few easy steps that need to be taken:

Step 1- Get a Payoff Quote:

Obtaining a payoff quote will help you find out your purchase amount. Quotes are available 24/7 through the Honda Financial Services' online Account Access or by calling the Express Payoff System at 1-800-708-6555. If you call, you may request a written confirmation of your payoff quote by mail along with instructions and required documentation.

Step 2- Confirm your intent to purchase:

Contact the Lease Maturity Center to notify us of your intent to purchase your leased vehicle.

Step 3- Payment and required documentation:

Mail the full payment amount to the address below, including applicable tax and fees. Once there is no outstanding balance, the title will be mailed to you upon receipt of the payment and documentation. Make sure your address on file with Honda Financial Services is current to ensure you receive any mailed documentation of your vehicle ownership.

In accordance with federal law, you are required to disclose the mileage of the vehicle with the transfer of ownership by submitting a signed and dated Odometer Disclosure Statement.

Notice is hereby given that Honda Lease Trust has assigned all of its rights (but not obligations) to purchase and/or sell this vehicle to Honda Finance Exchange, Inc. pursuant to the Sub-Servicing and Master Exchange Agreement.

Step 4- Re-register your vehicle:

Upon transfer of ownership, state law requires the title and vehicle registration to also be transferred into your own name. This is to be completed at your local Department of Motor Vehicles. Sales tax and/or fees may be applied.
